Realm of Tyreen
Monetary Denominations-
Greeds-Platinum-Pieces of obsidian ringed in platinum with King Forgehammer XII’s relief on one side and a silhouette of the Obsidian mountain range on the other.
Dougles-Gold-These coins are rather small but made of pure gold. Originally mined by the dwarves they have the silhouette of the Obsidian mountain range on one side and a silhouette of Battlegaurd on the other.
Quarterlings-Electrum-Although called quarters these ancient and rare coins are actually valued at one fifth of a gold. They are not often accepted in Restonford where many humans have never heard of the coin. Made of copper and ringed in steel they too portray the silhouette of the Obsidian range and the other side portrays the likeness of an elven man long forgotten.
Elveneyes-Silver-Elveneyes are brilliant smooth silver coins. The edge is inscribed with the elven words, "Sythellius Marsontell Orienthollinius" meaning with nature we bind.
Scales-Copper-The least valuable coin of the realm scales are featureless square copper coins. They derive their name from legends that describe the Deity Scaralius’ skin as covered in copper-like scales.
"Mountains and Sunset"-Coins have two sides regularly referred to as mountains and sunset. The side portraying the Obsidian range is mountains and the other is sunset.
